The New Jersey Center of Divine Mercy
In
July 2005, the canonical merger of St. Ann’s and St. Rocco’s Parishes
as the Parish of the Transfiguration was approved and plans began to
turn St. Rocco’s Church into
The New Jersey Center of Divine Mercy.
Our celebrations have attracted a variety of parishioners including
those from within our local tri-state community as well as many
international visitors including the Philippines, Canada and Puerto
Rico. Our prayer events have included annual, full-day celebrations
for the Feast of Divine Mercy, conferences on Divine Mercy with
internationally known speakers, special Feast Day celebrations, and
healing services. All of our events include prayer during the Holy
Hour, confession, veneration of a First-Class Relic of Saint Faustina,
a healing service and Benediction.
The NJ Center of Divine Mercy has the support of the Marians of the Immaculate Conception
from the National Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, MA, and
receives resources from Franciscan Charities Inc.. Our efforts have
also been featured in the Spring 2009 edition of the Marian Helper
Magazine. Click below to read all about it.
